Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14 NIV
Backstory: This scripture highlights God as the Creator. God created all things in existence, nothing in existence was not created by God. The psalmist praises God because God knows us intimately. God created every fiber of our being.
Response: The intimate and powerful Creator who the psalmist speaks of is the same God who we are able to approach boldly at the throne of grace. Who wouldn't serve a God like this? The same God calls us friend. How amazing is it that the sovereign God is attainable to His followers? Some of the idols of this world will not give a smile to their number one fans. But, God who is so good, gave His only begotten son, Jesus Christ to die for unfaithful humans. What a merciful love?
We pray that you know that God loves you. God is present and will never neglect you. Those who call on God will experience the fullness of His love. Unlike Earthly idols, God is faithful. God remains when our bodies return to dust. Seek God first above all things.
In Jesus mighty name
Hallelujah, Amen!
