Nobody Greater!

"Therefore You are great, O Lord God; for there is none like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears." 2 Samuel 7:22 AMP 

Today's scripture is one verse from David's prayer of humility and gratitude towards God. David calls God sovereign and one-of-a-kind. He says God is a promise-keeper and discusses the fulfillment of God's promise to deliver Israel from Egypt. God split the sea so that Israel could escape Pharaoh and the Egyptians. As God made and kept all promises to His chosen people, Israel, He will do the same for followers of Christ. 

Jesus Christ died for the transgressions of our sins. When we openly declare Him as our Lord and believe we are made right with God in our hearts, we are saved. There is no being on this Earth or beyond that can replicate what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. God is the only 'sure thing' in our lives. Man does not know what tomorrow holds; God is omniscient and unfailing!
