Peace of God

"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7 NIV

The peace of God allows us to be calm in the middle of a hurricane and still during an earthquake. When we cast our cares upon the Lord, our load is lightened. Dead weight becomes a thing of the past and new challenges must surrender to the will of God. No demon in hell can steal the peace that God gives when we submit to Him.

Today's scripture highlights the power of choice. When you choose to give an issue to the Lord, victory is yours. Furthermore, no matter the outcome, you will have perfect peace knowing that the ultimate win is beyond this current life. Followers of Christ seek more than the temporary; there is eternal bliss waiting for us.

We pray that you choose the peace of God. A peaceful life is a blessing. In the mist of chaos and confusion, God will keep your heart and mind settled. The problems of the day will no longer worry you. Peace is yours for the asking!
