Pray Always

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people" Ephesians 6:18 NIV

Prayer is crucial for children of God. It is a form of communication through which we express gratitude and acknowledgement to the Creator. We might praise in advance for a dream come true: new job, healthy mental state, or abundant resources. We can also request God's divine intervention in the midst of a trial. There is no problem too big for God. Lastly, but no less important, we must give thanks for all that God has performed thus far in life. From the minor cuts to the major fractures, when God has healed you -- give thanks!

In addition to developing a strong prayer pattern for our own lives, today's scripture instructs us to stay in prayer for all of the Lord's people. We are to uplift our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. No matter if they request prayer or not, when God lays it on your heart to pray, pray! The process works the same as for yourself: pray for their past, present, and future. Intercessory prayer is a powerful tool!

We pray that you understand the value in prayer. Strive to be a prayer warrior in your own right. Do not compare your style of praying with anyone else, just be sincere in your communication to God. When prayers go up to God, the blessings shower down. Stay encouraged.
