Pray Without Ceasing

"Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5 KJV

Backstory: Paul, Silvanus, and Timotheus, three servants of the Lord wrote to the church of the Thessalonians. They write that no man knows the day of Jesus Christ's return, but believers are not to live in fear. Through salvation, children of God look forward to eternal life with the Father, not the wrath of judgment. This letter also contains instructions on how to live while on Earth in a way that pleases God. Prayer is noted as a key action for the church.

Response: Pray without ceasing. Prayer is an intimate communication with God where an individual expresses thanksgiving and/or makes their petitions known. Praying is also an act of relationship building which in turn increases trust. When you wholeheartedly trust God you will experience peace. This peace will surpass all understanding and hold you in any circumstance.

We pray that you become a diligent seeker of God in prayer. See for yourself how God is always available in your time of need. Praise God in the good times and in the bad, knowing that He who is able will make things work for your good. Do not take matters into your own hands or doubt God's omnipotent strength. In all things, pray!

In Jesus mighty name,

Hallelujah, Amen!
