Rightfully Blessed

"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:10 NIV

How many times have you questioned God when someone 'good' is murdered? If the thought has not formed in your mind, then maybe you have heard someone else's concerns. 

There are countless individuals who have died for the sake of doing the right thing. Social justice, religious freedoms, cultural pride, gender equality, and economic relief are just a few of the battles. 

The individuals whose hearts are set on God and righteousness will not be left unawarded. Despite a tumultuous life on Earth, there is much joy to receive in life thereafter. God promises an eternal end to suffering, worries, and all matters of evil. The righteous will live in paradise forever and ever! 

We pray that whatever God has designed for you to do is completed with excellence. May you be encouraged by today's scripture knowing that the greatest reward will be beyond this current life. We hope that you commit to God and living a life of righteousness with wisdom and courage.
