To Give or Not to Give? - Proverbs 11:24

"There is the one who [generously] scatters [abroad], and yet increases all the more; And there is the one who withholds what is justly due, but it results only in want and poverty." - Proverbs 11:24 AMP

The scripture of the day illustrates two types of people: generous and stingy. A generous person shares their resources with others and are continuously blessed with more. The stingy individual does not desire to give and in return, they do not experience their maximum potential. Giving can be accomplished through several means: time, talent, finances, and material possessions. Our time can be dedicated to serving our church and community. We can volunteer our talents to a budding business or trusted brand. Financial giving includes blessing your storehouse, sponsoring others, and supporting social causes. Thrift stores and shelters gladly welcome material donations. There are countless ways to give, just read the Holy Bible for examples!

We pray that the reader of this message takes this scripture to the Lord in prayer. May you receive clarity of what it means to be a generous and wise giver. We recognize that there are many ways to give and God allocates different resources to each individual. Take the time to identify the forms of giving that you could perform. God will keep you supplied with all the tools that you need to be sustained.

In Jesus mighty name,

Hallelujah, Amen.
