We Plan, God Directs

"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." Proverbs 16:9 NIV

We have goals and configure plans to accomplish them, however, God directs our steps. God is ultimately in control and works things together for our good. Sometimes this comes in the form of a detour. God allows us to be rerouted to avoid accidents. When we persist against God's will, we end up in a wreck.

Today's scripture highlights the need for a balance between planning and allowing God to work on our behalf. God gives us free will whilst having a perfect plan for us. We do not have to commit to God's will, but it is the best option. If we stay in tune with God, our desires will align with His.

We pray that you receive and implement the instructions of God. Allow your steps to be ordered by the Word and the Holy Spirit. Continue to pray for wisdom that you may be aligned with God's perfect will. May you have the strength to release any decisions that do not align with God's blueprint. God's way is the best way!
