Jesus Remains The Same

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Hebrews 13:8 KJV

For a culture that emphasizes the importance of authenticity, there lies so much uncertainty in who we are. Trends change quicker than the seasons. One day you're a queen who needs her flowers and in a twinkling of an eye, you're the most hated creation. A man may be exalted for his charitable deeds and set high on a pedestal for a decade. Then an old photo or interview resurfaces and everyone attached to him faces death threats.

The inconsistencies of the world are exactly why God never intended for us to be entangled in worldly matters. We exist in the world to represent the kingdom of God. We are not present to surf the waves of wickedness and deceit.

Jesus Christ was sent on our behalf to pay the price for all sinners to repent and be saved. The nature of Christ has not and will never change. Man may perform elaborate research studies and fabricate all types of new storylines, but the story of Christ is not new. What is written in the Word of God, is God-breathed. It is active and alive!

Stay alert and test every doctrine to the Word of God. Be careful of your connections. For each and every matter consult with the Holy Spirit who dwells inside. God is always present and ready to converse with you.
