Our word choices are quite powerful. The scripture tells us that we can kill and produce life with what we speak. It also says that we produce what we love or the matters of our heart. So, we speak to kill or revive the joy, gentleness, patience, love, and other God-given traits within others or ourselves, based on the position of our hearts.
What do your vocabulary choices say about you? Are you quick to use words as weaponry or to be a soothing balm?
Make sure to be intentional with your conversations. Even in moments of rage, remember you are an ambassador for Christ Jesus. You are a representative for the Kingdom of God. Our words must reflect the nature that is conducive to winning souls for the kingdom.
Read and study the Word of God, pray and chat with God continuously, and trust Him.
